I love this time of year. I know not everyone does, but I really do. Every new year I find an inexpensive place to go hide out for a few days to spend in intentional reflection on the previous year and visioning for the new. Not just professionally, but for my life in general. This year, I’ve found a State Park cabin in the woods near Pt. Reyes, and will settle in for prayer, meditation, dreaming and re-membering my soul in the light of my ancestors.
As the new year turns, I am grateful for the growth of my work, especially for the connections I have with fellow colleagues, “elders” with whom I can create and experience these dances we call “constellations.” Last February, I was honored to learn from and contribute to the Australiasian Constellations Intensive, with world renowned teachers like Stephan Hausner (that’s the two of us in the picture), Ingala Robl, Dan Booth Cohen, Mark Wolynn and many others in the rich environment of Sydney, where the light and shadows of both indigenous and colonizing ancestors are continuing to create the world. Last month, I was in Thailand, teaching and faclitating on my own, in a the gracious field of Thailand, where Buddhism flavors every aspect of how we understand what the world even is.
All of this builds to exciting things happening in early 2019, with a hearty invitation to all of you to participate! Here, I am going to highlight the most important developments, and then, please, go to my events page more details and links.
★ Price Increase for Private Work, and An Opportunity to Save Now: For several years, the price for my two hour sessions and group constellations has been $275. That may sound like a lot, and I always respect the investment people make in their healing – it is a lot! And, for those of you who know the market in constellations work in the Bay Area, you probably know that right now, I am fairly under-market. So, it’s time to raise my prices! Starting January 15th, my group constellations and two-hour private sessions will be $300. So, here’s the opportunity: if you purchase a group constellation or private session before January 15th, you can get the $275 price, even if you schedule it for later (with a deadline of April 1st). ★ Free Constellations Online, January 8th: This is the fruit of the collegial relationships I’ve developed over the last several years. Suzi Tucker, who is famous for getting Bert Hellinger’s seminal work, Love’s Hidden Symmetry, published in English, who hosted him here in the U.S., and who has been a leading East Coast trainer for years, is joining Sarah Peyton, who is better known here on the West Coast as a leader in synthesizing constellations work, neuroscience and Non-Violent Communication (NVC) will be coming together for a delightful online conversation and constellations taster. A few weeks later, return for another online experience with Suzi Tucker and Peter DeVries on January 28th. Contact me to register or to request a recording.

★ Constellations for Only $5! (with some date changes): Yes, this is a reminder, but it’s important. For those of you in the San Francisco Bay Area, every 2-3 weeks in Berkeley, we gather to experience constellations. Two people are the clients, and pay for that (see above). But everyone else can come for only $5. There is at LEAST $5 worth of healing and fun each evening. 😉 Note: Due to venue policy changes, our evenings will now be on occasional Thursday and Friday nights (no more Sundays!). So, those are my new year’s offerings and updates. I bow to all of my ancestors who are, one way or another, greatly responsible for where I find myself. I remember especially my Uncle Don, who passed away just a few weeks ago, and the last of my parents’ generation (this is his photo). One of his life contributions, as an infectious diseases doctor in Manhattan in the 80s, was coining “AIDS” as a non-judgmental way to talk about the emerging plague. As I was talking with my cousin, his daughter, we reflected with wonder on the reality that we, now, are the elders of our family. Impossible! But oddly, apparently, true.
